SUMMER

Rush Hour in Yellowstone

During  summer, approximately four million people pass through the Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone area.  There is a very good reason for this, the eco-system here is one of the largest and most unique intact wildernesses left on the planet.  The animals, geysers, mountains, lakes and forests are so exceptional that Yellowstone was the birthplace of the idea of a national park.  This area is a paradise of natural beauty, small-town charm, exciting activities and gracious hospitality.

There are a huge number of ways to experience the parks and the Old West feeling of Jackson Hole.  Whether you

are driving your own car, flying in and renting a car, or taking a bus tour into the area, Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Jackson have life-changing experiences to offer.  The transition from winter to spring comes in April and early May, and the parks are fully open to driving by mid-May.  It’s a great idea to make reservations as early as possible — and that’s why we’re here!
